The following imported species are sourced by our reputable suppliers from around the world. The veneer industry in the developing world provides skilled work in many local and rural areas where unemployment is often very high, and hence makes a positive social and economic contribution. Furthermore, veneering is the best way, environmentally, to convert logs to high value decorative timber. For instance, one cubic metre of timber may produce up to approximately 1,000m2 of veneer, and a log may produce many thousands of square metres, enough to complete an entire multi-level office fit-out or large hotel.

These images of these veneers are indicative only. Veneer is a natural product and hence may vary from such images in terms of colour and grain. Furthermore, an image of a veneer sample does not properly represent the appearance of a full size polished panel. Please note that images may appear different in colour and tone on different monitors and computers. The best way to control the appearance of the veneer on your project is to make an appointment to inspect and select veneer from actual current stocks, just prior to the placement of the joinery/furniture order. The customer should then prepare test samples of this veneer and laminate/finish them in the same way as on the project.
