eco-cert™ veneers are Australia’s largest range of certified timber veneers. Environmentally certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA), these veneers include Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Australian Forestry Standard (AFS), PEFC and plantation veneers sourced from Australia and over-seas.
All of the eco-cert™ range can contribute to Green Star points, because they are 100% certified by GECA and can therefore contribute Materials Points in Mat-1 Workstations to Mat-8 Ceilings (Interior componentry - Office Interiors Tool v1.1) and similarly in other Tools. Plus 95% of the eco-cert range (the FSC and AFS veneers) can contribute to one Timber Point in Mat-11 Timber (Office Interiors v1.1), Mat-8 Timber (Office Design v3 and Office As Built V3) and similarly in other Tools. (The decision as how the second Timber point will be awarded is expected to be made by the GBCA in 2010.)

The supply of all veneers is subject to availability. These images of these veneers are indicative only. Veneer is a natural product and hence may vary from such images in terms of colour and grain. Furthermore, an image of a veneer sample does not properly represent the appearance of a full size polished panel. Please note that images may appear different in colour and tone on different monitors and computers. The best way to control the appearance of the veneer on your project is to make an appointment to inspect and select veneer from actual current stocks, just prior to the placement of the joinery/furniture order. The customer should then prepare test samples of this veneer and laminate/finish them in the same way as on the project.
