TRUEGRAIN® and other Reconstituted Wood Veneers

Veneer laminated and resliced to make unique and consistent patterns and colours

About TRUEGRAIN®

TrueGrain and other dyed reconstituted veneers are made from real wood veneer, dyed all the way through, then laminated and re-sliced to make veneer in unique colours and patterns. It is the most consistent of all wood veneers (though it may occasionally have some very slight variation in colour and pattern between dye-batches). It is suitable where a high degree of uniformity is required, such as large areas of wall panelling. TrueGrain also has the advantage that it is available in patterns and colours not available in natural veneer.

The TrueGrain un-dyed reconstituted veneers are made from un-dyed natural veneers and can vary somewhat in colour from batch to batch or log to log. TrueGrain Natural veneers are identified as such in the information for each individual product on this website.

TrueGrain veneers are suited to interior, dry, low wear and vertical applications such as panelling and cabinetry. Many TrueGrain veneers are available as FSC® certified to be from responsibly managed forests.

Briggs FSC® Chain of Custody Certificate No: SGSHK-COC-002954, SGSHK-CW-002954.

Images of veneer and laminate on this page represent finished samples approximately 100mmx100mm. Colours displayed on your screen may differ from those of actual samples and from veneer or veneer laminate used on a project. Veneer and veneer laminate are made from natural wood so their appearance may vary and have natural and manufacturing features such as pin knots, gum, figure, join lines, slight indentations and some variation in the appearance of how stains/washes/tints are taken up by different leaves or logs.
